Everything is going to be alright.

Do any of us even know what day it is?

Ok, so if you didn’t know, once upon a time - I co-founded this iconic fashion brand, and it was fair to say at one stage it was really ripping.

I travelled the world, worked with international artists and had some pretty rock n roll moments.

Then through someone’s bad decisions, it went sideways - super quick, Kind of like this situation we find ourselves in now.

From hero to zero...

It was super stressful and at the time I didn’t know what to do, I had this multi-million dollar house on the beach with the mortgage to boot, three beautiful little kids, I had filed for divorce, it was a struggle to hold things together.

On the stairs leading out of the house -  I had written the phrase “Everything Is Going To Be Alright”

It was something to hold onto as I prepared to face each day.

I eventually lost everything (financially), paid off all my debt and walked away with nothing…

It felt like the end of the world, sometimes I was ok, sometimes I just cried, sometimes I just didn’t even know what to do on a day to day basis - everything didn’t feel alright, it felt like shit, but at least I’m here to tell the story.

The pain, the stress, the dealing with it, well it changed me as a person.

The only option was to keep moving forwards, one step at a time, one day at a time - sometimes wading thigh-deep in mud, sometimes not, trying to work a plan or a solution, holding on to friends and loved ones - my Familia!

It might not feel like it right now - but “Everything Is Going To Be Alright”, it might not be the same “alright” as to how we imagined it six weeks ago, but if we hang in there and look after the ones we love, we’ll find some version of alright!
